What is the actual plan at LB?

I liked the draft so far. The issue is trying to rely on multiple draft picks to hit and contribute year one is a bad strategy. They have shown multiple times that they will go into the season with a glaring hole and just let the chips fall where they may.
I get that. You especially can’t depend on draft picks to be huge contributor from the 4th or later rounds. Sometimes you get lucky but it’s rare. This year hitting on one or more of those day 3 picks could be huge. With Aubrey signed we could sign another vet. Generally after the draft a vet or 2 become available .

Likely better than anyone we would have gotten in 5th. Good value started 17 games led team in tackles
Had 100 tackles. Undersized. Abused in pass coverage. Depth piece is fine for a 5th. I really had my hopes up for Rodriguez. Maybe since Miami took him they'll trade us Brooks now lol

No way we were getting Rodriguez with no 2nd. Same size as Dean.

Dean never had more than 80 tackles in a season and people still butter about losing out on him.

Not a game changer but nothing to dislike for a 5th is my point.

So far
Downs
Lawrence
WILLIAMS
Pickens
Winters

Not a bad haul

not that I have a whole lot of trust in PFF, but they did say he was the second best LB in coverage last season so your claim looks frankly dumb
