Drafted by Cowboys No. 92 pick - Michigan ED/LB Jaishawn Barham

92. Cowboys: Jaishawn Barham, EDGE, Michigan

Grade: A

The Cowboys got their pass-downs edge in Round 1 and now they get their run-downs edge in round three. Barham is one of the most physical players in the entire class who loves throwing his body around in the box

I like this pick especially being coached up . Sets the EDGE run stopper early downs . Exactly what Parker wants stop the run early force them into passing situations .

And to be honest the 49er LB also tonight Winters got a ton of snaps on a quality team the defense is starting to shape up as a young aggressive unit with Downs the field general .

The three 4’s Saturday , keep the defense in mind , maybe one OL for depth .
Nice post, Ron, good looking draft, Dallas has speed to burn on the edges now. Pass rushing outside linebacker looks solid. Downs will wear the green dot he will be the captain of the defense.

i liked this kid at michigan.
but i also liked taco and mazi.
i liked kevin brooks also.
hopefully.....we can get the same guy we saw at michigan....here.

I'm thinking Rashawn Gary is moving to 5tech in 34 base sets!
I'm thinking you're out of your mind. We want big guys up front in those sets to stop the run and force the pass. I do expect Gary to move inside in the nickel.

Tommy Yarish asked Schotty where they will play Jaishawn at in or out.

Schotty said they will start him out at inside and see how it goes from there.
That's what I thought. They view him as an ILB.

Smart. If he is comfortable in coverage I think he can be a player at linebacker.

A low budget/low risk Arvell Reese.
I havent seen enough of him to judge myself.

But from what Ive seen, Id call him more of a low budget Sonny Styles.

I think Reese is ahead of him as a rusher.

What I like is that he moves really well and is violent. Has a lot of experience as an off ball backer.

Michigan stunted his development when they moved him to edge. His play at MLB in 2024 was intriguing. Much better film in 2024 than this year. He will most likely play MLB for Dallas and come off the field in passing situations unless they put him on the edge because others are gassed.

His best attribute is stacking and shedding. The only two LB's better at that in this draft were Trotter and Murdock. He is a raw talent that you don't want to put in coverage all that often. I fully expect Dallas to sign Okereke or Wagner to mentor this guy for a season. He has the ability to be a good MLB.

Were there better players on the board? Definitley. Not mad at the pick though.
Goood history. Thanks

The little bit of tape I've seen looks good. Guessing strong side ILB in base formations. Could be used as a blitzer up the gut behind Q or he could split out wide if somebody needs a breather. Nice pick.
