Drafted by Cowboys No. 92 pick - Michigan ED/LB Jaishawn Barham

Kind of a silly comment. You could literally say that about any player we took there. I mean literally.
If we take them before the meaningless clueless mocks say we reached. If they last longer, there must be a problem we don't know about. Can't win

4.6 is too tier for an edge. Every scouting report says he’s explosive and the there’s you.
He’s more DE than LB.

It’s a 4.64 40 time.

His combine scores are a train wreck.

I just read them.

Means Clowney isn't coming back and Williams is most likely on the bubble. I'd say pre-injury Williams is probably his ceiling, love to be proven wrong.
The team has already said Clowney is not coming back. And MLaw was the bell tolling for Williams. But who knows.......maybe Sam figures it out and forces his way onto the final roster.

He will be a 3-4 OLB in this defense. DE's in this defense are bigger. This kid is only 250 lbs.

Combine scores are just one tool scouts use. Terrell Suggs, Cooper Kupp, Vontaze Burfict, Navarro Bowman, and Kam Chancellor are among MANY names that had horrible combine results. I think they proved the underwear olympics isn't always accurate.

Malik Muhammad and Jermod McCoy were still right there and they double dip on reaches at edge.
Obviously mccoys knee is much worse than we’ve been told. I’ve read he’s likely to need another surgery which means a redshirt year. There’s a point you might take that gamble but it’s not in the 3rd rnd

Yeah I wouldn't take a flier in the 3rd, 1 of the 3 4th round picks could be worth it though. If he can move past this bone issue, he could be special.

Can you point out one article that says he is "unathletic"?
Honestly didn’t know much about him. But seems like he’s certainly a great athlete. He has strengths and weaknesses but some of that can be improved upon if he puts in the works. He’s an athlete and a pretty good one that we now need to develop into a foitball player. He’s gonna likely need to add some bull, learn some technique

Total agree. They’ve seen the medical. If that knee is fixable then one of the 4ths is certainly worth it. Red shirt him and you could have a stud really cheap. Sadly college players don’t get the care nfl players do do had this been done in nfl he might be in better position

Rumor says McCoy might need the same bone graft knee surgery that Trevon Diggs had. Add this to the fact McCoy has not suited up for a competitive football game since 2024. It's a sad story for him but he might not even get drafted; unless a team with multiple 6ths or 7ths wants to gamble.

And that's the flip side of the NIL equation. Not necessarily saying that due to McCoy, as I don't know his situation. But, if you're viewed as an early draftee, coming out healthy and signing a 4-year deal might provide more financial security than staying in school for one more bag.

I would take a chance.

The upside is worth it.

His combine/draft profile isn’t good.

It’s just the way it is.

He’s a good kid.

But he was drafted in the wrong round.

He’s more 4/5 than 3.

Same as Lawrence. He’s mid/late 2.

Team has recently been doing that. That’s how we got Mazi.
