You can negotiate his rights with another team, and when a trade is agreed upon, Pickens will sign with the understanding he’ll immediately get traded and probably extended. Happens all the time

If Pickens does that it will be the worst thing he can do, he will just solidify for other teams they should not give him a long term deal.

He should have signed the contract the moment it was offered but he and his agent are both idiots
