yes and many fans dont see it or dont like him so dont want to admit it.
I think he is changing all sorts of things , including the jones boys .
He ran the search for a DC and picked Parker, then jones boys hired Parker.
This was something I never thought I would see ,with jones boys.

Shotty and parker kinda ran the draft too, and look how that turned out.
Jones boy are getting the credit in media, and that is ok, they will like that.

I agree with you. The changes just coincide with Shotty and I believe they hired Flus and forced him on them and as a result they let him buy the groceries this time around. People hated the Shotty hire and are gonna knock everything he does. I too wasn’t for it but I can also take a wait and see approach.

For the last 25-30 years the Cowboys have been intriguing because, well, the circus has been in town. This year they are intriguing because there is finally the very legitimate chance to make some real noise.

I don’t see a juggernaut in the NFC and the usual cast of characters will be forced to use the old Cowboys ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ playbook to mask THEIR deficiencies.

Not sure sure if this is end of life recognition (from Fearless Leader) but the Jones’ seem to have undergone a slight paradigm shift toward the winning recipe - took long enough.

I’d say if you’re a Cowboys fan and aren’t enthused about the prospects of this season, you’re understandably a victim of JDS (Jones Derangement Syndrome). If that’s the case, the only cure is time and winning football. Hang in there.

Well, and that's partly where the hope for the season comes in for me. I think we actually have a competent coaching staff (albeit, accidentally assembled). I think they actually brought in good players this offseason. I think the coaches and players brought in can help change the culture, especially Downs. The question is, will it be enough?

Like horse man said, everyone should be free to 'fan' how they choose. Unfortunately, a few members here at CZ have a problem with that concept and attack others who don't think like they do. To me it's a bit reminiscent of a period of history in Europe when a certain dictator made a habit executing others who didn't buy into the ideology of the time. Certain CZ members attack others who don't buy into the rainbow and bunnies concept and have provided their reasons countless times. At times you are one of the attackers, but you don't take it to the extremes another member always goes to.

I agree, and I think the moves this offseason have been smart. I appreciate the effort this offseason. And to your point, I agree that our division rivals are going to have to see our defence to see how to counter it. And honestly, I think our front 7 and safeties are going to be good.
