Week 1: Cowboys at Giants SNF

Aside from a NYG opener being a tired cliche… this is about as gift wrapped an opening game could possibly be.

If Dallas stumbles out of the gate on this one— prepare for a long season lol

Good chance we are 1-0 with a division road W in the books. Great way to start the season
SB baby! At least that's what we'll hear.

Last time we opened against the Giants, I predicted they'd win.

We won 40-0, so like... yea

Are you serious? This game doesn't worry you? I probably said this to you back in 2023 when we won 40-0. I just don't see it this time as being an easy win. They're an up and coming team, and the fact it's week 1 has me worried. Their new head coach is probably not going to have them unprepared like the last idiot did. I think this game will be competitive. I don't buy into the Giants D. They always think their D will be good and they suck every year. I'm just glad they drafted an off the ball LB instead of Downs. As a result, we got him. Thanks Giants.
They traded away their best defensive player and then didn’t add any serious weapons for Dart. Nabers is coming off a serious injury, and our D has gotten better in a number of spots.

Could we lose? Of course. Am I “worried”? Nah. If we can’t beat the Giants— we suck.

Maybe I missed it, what’s your prediction for this year against the Giants? You seem to have an excellent track record!

They were a “prevent” ******* DC and ~65 yard FG away from beating us last year. They lost Dexter who was a shell of his former self last year and added Reese. They also lost Robinson but he wasn’t much better than any of the the players he was replaced with, his numbers were “artificially” inflated because Nabers went down and he became the #1 WR.

We were the worst run defense last year and they were 5th in rushing overall. Their secondary still sucks and I think they messed up by not taking Downs but this isn’t the same team they played last year and neither are we. Overall, I think we may win because it’s the first week and our offense hasn’t changed a bit but this is no gimme and I wouldn’t be shocked if we lost.

I don’t get it, what’s your problem? The fact that it’s a Sunday night game in NY or that over the last 20 years the Cowboys have opened at home vs the Giants twice as many times as the Giants have opened at home vs the Cowboys?

Im saying I dont get why it always has to be the Giants. Why can't we open up the season vs other teams? Why the Giants more than other teams?

Gift wrapped? Do you know who their coach is? They have great young talent over there. First of all, this is the NFL. Nothing is gift wrapped at this level.

NFL coaches and players have always said its hard to win games in the NFL.
