What struck me most was Cowherd’s stand-in doing everything he could to try to create some sort, any sort of controversy when it came to the Cowboys.

I respect Schlereth's opinion a lot. Very good analyst who watches a lot of film. While he did talk up Dallas strengths, he also spent a lot of time talking up other teams in the division weaknesses. He knows his stuff particularly about O Line play but I am not nearly as sure about how well this O Line plays this year as he seems to be.

I am optimistic like Schlereth is about winning the NFC East with 12 wins. Dallas looks strong on paper good looking roster, nice offseason and draft. Nice looking coaching staff too, can't wait to see what Parker can do with these players.

Talent has never been the issue. We just have too many players that are ok with losing.

I think many of those seasons were lost by a few starters going out and then C- players taking their place because we have been too top heavy in roster construction. This was compounded by too many high risk reward players who rarely made it through the whole season uninjured.

There is a chance that Ol Jerry could throw a monkey wrench in the works ain't no doubt. But this roster looks solid and with some team chemistry and a few breaks going our way for a change, one never knows what can happen. Being a positive thinker is a good way to go through life; it certainly helps it is the right attitude to have. I believe Dallas is on the rise.
