9 names on the list and a couple listed (Kamara, Brooks) I would like to see wearing a Star. But I am weary of trading draft picks from next year with that being a better draft than this year.

Plus they really do not have any draft capital for 2027.

If anything I would not mind them trading Schoonmaker for a 5th or a 6th. Yes I think they could get a 5th. A team is desperate enough, a 4th?
Could Milton be trade bait, get a 6th.
Could Liufau be a possibility as well?

I do not see them getting any 4th round picks, but a 5th, and 6th, and 7th.
 
Every year on this date, the same thing comes up, and nothing becomes of it. June 1 is now something they can use in advance of that date. Jeez get rid of it already.

For fun, I’ll play. Where are all the solid DTs on that list? Not there, yet I see several quality edge guys, which is why you trade Micah for two top DTs all day every day.

Unlikely any comes here ......but Sweat or Brooks, maybe.

Sidenote.......don't look for the 49ers to trade Aiyuk anytime soon. He wants to play with Daniel * his former college teammate) but the 49ers have made it clear they will do what's best for their team. That could mean holding on to him through the preseason in case some team loses their WR via season-ending injury.

I doubt if we get any of them, but Sweat and Brooks would be interesting..

we would have to give up the bank to get garrett,

not interested in the rest.

4th in 2028 for Brooks(a 3rd if you have to)
6th for Conner

That would leave a 1st, 2nd, and 6th in 2027.

You also have to remember if you want Brown, you have to get through an entire phone conversation with Howie Roseman. What team believes they can do that without losing their 1st at the end of it

just hold out And the ones that will be cut, will be cut,

you don't have to trade for them and the existing list for a lot of those players at those positions For free agencies that still exist and that will grow all the way up till game one..


wait until first mandatory cut downs the Cowboys do not need to act and overpay at any position right now just let it play out and teams will get desperate and just cut the player....

Unless you're going to take a 6 round pick or something maybe a 7th the Cowboys are not players,

I would not do it anyway, I don't think they're desperate at any position right now and just like I've said in the other 5 posts about a similar actions that need be taken you wait till after the last preseason game and cut downs see what you really need and then go out and get it there's big lists out there of people that are going to be available...

Which by the way remember the trade deadline doesn't end until what late October? You can make any of those trades or others at any time that you really think you're desperate for a player.

We've seen some pretty good players like I believe when Deandre Hopkins was with Cardinals they couldn't find anyone to give them anything worth anything and they flat out cut him Later on he got traded from another team but guys like him teams will just cut bait with once they realize there's no real interest with a draft pick..

Do Eagles fans still think Brown is a top ten receiver or do they just want a first because they want a first and assume Howie can get it?

I have him borderline in the 10-12 range

Depends on his mood on game days. Sometimes he is and sometimes he isn’t.

A little of both

I believe you can argue there are not 10 receivers in the league who are clearly superior to Brown, and I also believe Howie is going to get exactly what he wants for him. If not a 1 straight up, then a 2 and change that equates to a 1, or a conditional 2 that becomes a 1.

But it was a fun conversation a month ago, now it’s moot. We’ll know in a few hours so no sense in last gasp debates when it’s June 1st

It’s going to be very interesting what the Pats are willing to offer. If the Eagles don’t get at least a 1st, then that will be a big loss for them. I told you he was a locker room cancer but you kept defending him. Understandable since your an Eagles fan.

But what if they take that locker room cancer and Howie still somehow gets a 1 for him? What would that be classified as?
