I wish this were the case, but so far, my internet search skills are failing to find any evidence of such rumblings. If anything, he's making it more difficult for them to justify moving on from him since he's shown up in off-season workouts, and it's the very fact that there is a LB market reset... ie, he's so cheap for what he brings... that he's even considered available.
If I had to guess, the Cowboys want any deal to be predicated on some extension number they're comfortable with... and to the degree they are comfortable they'll give MIA more capital, whereas to the degree they aren't, they're drawing the line at a lesser barter.
