Rashan Gary and Marist Liufau at OTA's

You mentioned hos pro bowl appearance, Shedur made the pro bowl too. Not that big of a deal. Dude got burnt left and right, your making it seem as if he was an all pro. He looked a lot like Diggs did when he was coached by Al Harris. Good for him at the end of the day, but the Vikings and Flores also had him and let him walk.
Wright looked better than any corner we had last year. I’m not rueing him being gone he had to get out of here to become a better player. But he was solid when he filled in for Johnson.

Hate to say it but I still think moving Liufau to Edge was a bad sign. Happens every year in the NFL. Player moved and then cut. I do think he may make the team as a STer though. He is one of our best STs guys. I really wish they kept him at ILBer. I think he could be a bottom of the depth chart guy there and STs core player. There's just almost no chance he sees the field as an Edge IMO (you are welcome to disagree of course) but time will tell...
Oh it’s for sure a bad sign. It’s like a tv show getting moved to Friday Nights. It’s about to get cancelled. In my eyes he would have a better chance at making this team at lib then edge. They have so many edge guys. But if he makes a statement In the preseason and he should have those chances then maybe he can salvage it.

In preseason his reckless play should put some good tape out there.

Wasn't Liufau actually starting to play decently when Mike Zimmer was the DC? Then he just fell off?

I actually hope the move to edge rusher helps him because the physical traits are there. Maybe just asking him to go get the QB will help him carve out a niche and be useful.

That’s not a bad grade.

I hate when yall do the “person graded out” argument. Graded out by whom? The team? Actual scouts? Or pff who everyone swears is not credible?
Exactly. People sound like Dallas needs to get the number one "graded" player at every single position or automatically the guy can't play.

Just like the Barham "reach" argument. As if he would have been a better player if the Cowboys took him at 114 instead of 92.

Exactly lol. That’s another pet peeve of mine…the “he’s projected to be a so and so pick”…projected by who lol?

Yes he was. Then Eberflus refused to use him as much. Had his guys Murray and Sanborn in there.

This is going to be a solid move for him. He’s a guy who plays with his hair on fire, so being an edge rusher with his quickness could be the right recipe to unlock his potential. Time will tell.

and he is not dumb; remember when a certain fool touched a punt and cost us a game? That whole time Liufau was screaming DON'T TOUCH IT!

I hope Liafau works out wherever they put him.

He represents one of the bigger problems this front office has had for far too long - changing defensive coordinators and schemes so often we end up with a patch quilt of talent styles built to fit the prior coordinator.

Which is why I hope they give Christian Parker time to learn and grow in the job as well as the young talent we’ve added.

They like the kid.

He showed more in 2024.

Eber barely called his name. 200 snaps.

6’ 2” 239. Long arms and 4.64 speed. He’s more ILB though.

But Over and Williams are the starters.

Has a better draft grade than Barham.

Likely leaves for UFA after 2027
He is playing Edge (3-4) OLB this year...per Parker.

If CP has a plan for him (and he does) then we have to give Liufau the benefit of the doubt.
And this is exactly why they should have kept Mazi.

Uberpuss doesn't know squat about developing and bringing out the best in players....CP specializes in that.

We'll rue the day.....
