Yeah that was last season they allowed Hoffman to leave therefore Bass is back up guard now they're gonna need another back center and I leave Hennessy was gonna be that guy..

Still don't understand why they Hoffman leave when he was that cheap over Bass unless they're going to turn bass in the backup Guard and center,

I suppose they like Bass better and it had to be one or the other due to cap dollars available to the position.

I’m much more concerned with starting tackle than backup interior. Bass and Shelton should be able to handle the latter.

I still preferred to keep Hoffman. He got a contract that is only 1M more and was considered to be starting material.

Why let a known quantity, who filled in greatly in previous years go, for another teams backup?
