"The PFWA’s Good Guy Award is given to a NFL player for his
qualities and professional style in helping pro football writers do their jobs. The award was first given by the PFWA in 2005." [

Hopefully, more members have now come to understand better why players like Dak Prescott, Jason Witten, Aaron Rodgers and dozens more have either won or been nominated for this award. These players are always easily accessible and provide material for writers at all occasions.
I think some members (including myself) are more critical of what's spoken into a microphone. All players are not robots. All players do not voice their thoughts in the same manner.
What type of opinionated content does any particular player
give to the press? For example, previous Good Guy Award winner Russell Wilson supplied writers with quoted soundbites for nearly fifteen years. What sort of stuff did he feed the media? I remember him saying nonsense like 'LET'S RIDE!' How often do the most approachable players gift the press with just fluff instead of notable predicted expectations to beat their deadlines?
