I think Rice is a great player. He’s not Lamb for sure. His issues are off the field. Rice is a legit 1st option in this league.

But I’m not the one making the argument Dak can do what Mahomes does. I’ve said on occasion he’s one of the best all time. He’s in a league of his own. Sixshootrr is arguing against a point no one has made in this thread. He went from arguing against Dak being a second tier to now arguing he’s not as good as Mahomes. Straw man. It’s a tactic he uses apparently to get his likes up.

TMC just likes to defend the players and coaches he thinks are being treated unfairly ........ he can stand someone who disagrees with him but also has that bulldog mentality (like me and several others in this thread) where he will not back down.

Me in him disagree a lot ....... and have said things we should not have to each other ...... but I think he is a good dude.

Rockport will start insulting anyone who disagrees with him ....... he even did it to TMC in the NBA thread ........ he only has loyalty to himself and Jerry Jones.

I agree that tmc is not quite as shallow as Rocky and I appreciate and respect someone who stands firm on an opinion based on logic and reason whether they agree with me or not. BUT, he doesn't do that. There is a reason why the term 'rabbit hole' has become synonymous with him. The gaslighting and deflecting that he does is off the charts. Not to mention the blatant hypocriscy.

I don't hate him, or Rocky. I have no respect for them, but they are very entertaining, and I'd miss them if they were gone.

QBs can't get you to the postseason. If that was the case, we would have made the playoffs last year. It's a team game.

But I do think Prescott's point was that we haven't gotten far in the playoffs because of what we lack. If the defense steps up, then we'll see if we're lacking.

I think you nailed it. I think that was the point he was making. Not literally he’s gonna be the only one to get them to the playoffs. I think he was being more complimentary if anything to Q.

Yeah I think we agree. As mentioned QBs get you there “with help”.

Having a franchise QB increases the chances of making the playoffs. The best QBs are basically a ticket to the tournament, while average ones provide you with a greater than 50% chance.

Likewise it’s a commentary of what Quinnen has lacked his whole career— a franchise QB and thus a reasonable shot at making the playoffs.

True. As much as many here use this opportunity to take another shot at Dak. Quinnen has had the bad Sam Darnold, Zach Wilson and the washed-up Aaron Rodgers.

I think Sam Darnold is a good example of the quarterback's role in a team's success. He's a better QB than when he was with the Jets, but he's also obviously on a better built team with a stout defense ... so he wins a Super Bowl. Not saying he didn't do his part, but it was just a part instead of having to carry half the load or more. The running game did its part, the passing game did its part, the defense did its part and the special teams did its part.

At the end of the day there’s 3 posters on this site who complain about being gaslit or falling down rabbit hole. Im convinced 2 out of the 3 doesn’t even know what those words even mean.

Your tribalism makes it hard to take your criticism seriously when you only apply it to one side. But that’s where we differ. I’ll call Roy or the Stallone brothers out when they are wrong.
