Coming off 32nd ranked D if CP can get this team to the middle of the pack it would be a huge accomplishment especially if the offense repeats itself and playoff success hits . Then teams firing it’s HC at seasons end will look at CP as HC candidate. First things first is having a successful 2026 .

We will see what happens, but he either fails, or at a minimum gets Rooney Rule interviews starting next year….and he just might be impressive enough for a team that had no intention of hiring him to consider doing so, similar to Tomlin in Pittsburgh.

He is impressive when he speaks. My best guess if I’m being serious is that there’s significant improvement (nowhere to go but up) but not to the point where he will be gone after one year. Two? Yeah I’ll start getting nervous. If you’re Dallas, how could you possibly can Shoddy to keep a coordinator, even though probably more than half this place will likely be screaming for it? Tough spot.

Ideally they bring up a position coach behind him that can take over. Quinn is probably out in Washington after they stink again, and I wouldnt put it past them to rob us of a DC yet again.
