Pickens and Ferguson replacement all in one.

Once we botch the Pickens situation, Dak will need another weapon. Assuming a Fluornoy can be a WR2, which is obviously a big assumption, I’m zeroed in on finding a replacement for Jake Ferguson, whose 0.3 YAC doesn’t strike fear into anyone

This is the type of player we need.

Need a title edit

Ive been told here by people that love this team unconditionally that Ferguson is a baller

Before I spend a premium pick on a TE if Guyton doesn’t live up to his draft status I try and upgrade LT with Carter Smith out of Indiana next draft .

Michael Trigg the UDFA out of Baylor might play his way into the TE room this year .

Less than 10% of all undrafted rookie free agents make the opening day roster

Less than 1% ever make even a single pro bowl.

I’ll leave this here thought since it’s training camp

TE not a need with Ferguson Spann Ford Fant Trigg ….now the LT position is under heavy scrutiny this camp . All these quotes coming from Tyler Smith not enthusiastic unless Jerry wants to cough up some more bread to pay him like a tackle .

That tight end group is average, at best. Ferguson was below average. He looked good to fantasy owners but it was pretty empty stats and in many ways one for the dragon the offense. He caters to all of Dak’s worst tendencies and that’s not a good thing. He’s like an energy vampire. He runs five yardss. He catches the ball. He falls down.

His advanced stat impact is a negative and he was bottom third in pff overall tight end grade as well as receiving grades.

I called it as a bad contract at the time and it’s proving out. I think he’ll be even worse this year. He only got paid because Jerry needed a quick PR win when things were at their worst.

He’s not just a security blanket, hes a weighted blanket and he’s our worst skill position starter and it’s not really close.

As to Smth,

Please share a few of “all these quote from Tyler Smith

I’ve seen one

"We'll see what happens," Smith said. "Ultimately, (Brian Schottenheimer) makes those decisions. Wherever I line up, I'm going (to play) to the best of my abilities."
