Was never a Springsteen fan.
Floyd I can listen to if I am in the mood for the most part. Gotta be in a mellow mood. Young Lust might be the exception.

I have always liked ELO. I can understand others not like it. I do think Jeff Lynn is vastly underrated for all of the work he has done with ELO, The traveling Wilburys and writing for others.

Not related to the two above but...Achey Breaky heart...i mean it sounds like something I would make up to make fun of country music but this guy did it for real and it made him famous.

I'm a fan of the Eagles, but I was on a kick for years, where I couldn't stand most Lynyrd Skynyrd songs, despite having their Greatest Hits CD, and liking them when I was a teenager. I don't know what turned me off, but now there are just certain songs I hate, like Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama.

Achey Breaky Heart was and is just horrible. I don't think Billy Ray Cyrus was the original singer, but I'm sure he's the worst.

I wonder if it's because those are basically THE two tracks that always got played ad nauseam for that group? I think they're great songs, but I could see how somebody, especially from that generation, could get sick of them.

Which brings up another good thread idea: songs you used to enjoy but got sick of because they were put into rotation way too much.

I have so much disdain for FM Rock Radio's narrow playlists, that I could guess that ANY song being played on any FM Corporate Conglomerate Radio Station, is one that I would turn off the moment I heard it.

I love many of the bands that are represented on FM Rock radio, but I have long ago been burnt out on the ones overplayed on these soulless stations.
