I never saw Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes single handedly carry a team to a championship. Both teams had SB defenses and a great coach.

I think most reasonable people agree with the bolded part. However, to pretend they haven't carried more than their share regardless of what else was around them is either dishonest or woefully uninformed.

Whose arguing? There were posts clearly trying to put the overall record on team while putting division credit on the QB. We were just correcting ... with logic. I know logic is the enemy of agenda's though so I can see how it might seem confrontational to some.

I literally included "the OTHER weakness" in my analysis.

QB's are defined by what they do in the crucial moments. That game was very winnable with just one play from the QB in the two moments I mentioned.

You know... Like Rodgers did.

So you are complaining why a rookie didnt make a play, going against a HOF type QB event hough we scored enough points to win it.

And you just proved my point for me. You blamed Dak but not the defenses that literally had three chances to make a play, yet they allowed three big plays after another.

So defense not at fault. And Dak the rookie carries all the fault.

No. My comment coincides similarly with the OP's tweet. There is zero relevancy for NFC championship games outside the tweet's timeframe prior to 2016.

If any member wishes to change the parameters of the OP for further discussion, I highly recommend pro-football-reference.com (or sports-reference.com and select Football instead). It provides detailed information for researching post-1970 regular season NFC Championship games through the present. However, I do believe that is irrelevant to the intended purpose of this thread, which is, again, stated in the OP's tweet.
