I get getting rid of him. I said they needed to once Kon showed what he could do.

I just don’t like their team now. They got worse. They could’ve got an inferior player and gotten better.

Even a Peyton Pritchard type would help them. Or a Jrue Holiday.

It is a weird place to be. Thunder and probably Spurs seem to be the teams with a plan I understand. The model is trade swap 5 picks to get a second or third tier player. NBA is in a weird spot.

That’s why it sucks to be sellers…..you’re trying to sell your vets and a lot of these teams either don’t have trade assets or picks. Mavs best bet may be to sit on their hands and sell when desperation arises.

Is the long game just stink and tank every year? I don’t really see what Hornets are doing. They are compiling pick swaps from a good Minnie team. I don’t know I understand this is the new wave but to me all pick swaps do is encourage teams to go all I. And be good…..I don’t know how Mavs keep their pick though other than be terrible and have a small chance. I don’t sense Flagg or any franchise player wants to sit around for a rebuild though.
