Anyone watch Widow's bay?
I watched two episodes and unless it gets better I do not want to waste more time on it.

Does it get better?

Just finished all 3 seasons of Deadwood plus the movie. I still can't believe I didn't get into this series when it was first aired. Watch a great show with some really excellent acting and writing. It was cancelled too soon IMO. But better too soon than to kill the show with a stinker last season like GoT and The Sopranos.

They had another show around the same time called ROME.
It had a similar fate after a couple of seasons. Good show to watch if you have not seen it. But they got to finish with one last season...problem is it looked like they tried to cram two to three seasons into one. I mean the time line jumped way forward and it just was a mess. But it was a good show that was cut around the same time deadwood was cut. Deadwood is better but if you get bored, give ROME a chance.

I think I saw Rome when it aired, but I would have to look it up to refresh my memory.

I Will Find You - The wife and I just wrapped this series up on Netflix last night. I had an article pop up on my phone the other day talking about "a thriller people can't stop talking about" and how it was currently one of the most-streamed series on Netflix, so we figured we'd give it a shot.

Meh. I don't know if the hype set my expectations too high, but I thought it was just OK. There was a mix of good and bad acting, the storyline felt a little scattered at times, and I had a hard time with how easily certain parts of the plot came together.

Was it entertaining? Absolutely. Was it the edge-of-your-seat thriller I couldn't stop watching? Not really. I would recommend it if you're looking for some filler content or something easy to binge, but I wouldn't say you need to drop everything and go watch it.

Yeah this has potential something was just off. Great cast that seemed to have been let down by the writing. Didn’t feel realistic….seemed like a lifetime movie.

Might watch this one in a bit.

That chick was just insane. Highly delusional. She is detached from reality and obviously dangerous.
She was….went from a small lie to somehow having to try and lie about being pregnant and trying to cover her tracks. Scary someone can do this.

This got a lot of hype on social media. It is a mix of comedy and horror. I think they should have leaned more into the horror aspect. I think it is overrated by most people online, but it's OK. I would give it a 7/10. The first couple of episodes are slow.

Little Brother (Netflix) - The wife and I watched this movie last night and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It gave us both some good laughs. It’s an absurd movie that knows exactly what it is: stupid, loose, and never meant to be taken too seriously. Mixed in with all the ridiculousness were some genuinely heartfelt moments and good messages.

Also, I love Cena. I think he’s great in comedic roles. He has a way of balancing ridiculous moments with genuine heart. I understand this movie won’t be for everybody, but if you’re in the mood for silly, crude comedy, I think you’ll enjoy it. It wasn’t trying to be anything more than what it was....a ridiculous, crude, and fun ride that still had some unexpectedly meaningful moments. Sometimes that’s all you need.

I've never seen this, but you're not the first person to bring up X-Men '97. What's the lore behind it?
I can’t speak for him but that’s by far the best show on Disney Plus. I hate it’s taking so long to come back but it had a lot of behind the scenes drama with the writer and producer.

To be honest most of the love it gets is the nostalgia from the 90s cartoon. It’s also kind of the introduction to X-men to Marvel or I guess the MCU?.

The hype is warranted though if this is what they are cooking up for the MCU it’s gonna be good.

Watched the first two episodes and was just not feeling it. Stephen Roots character was funny but the show was just meh

I like the let me in movie...both the foreign and english version.

Decided to give this showtime series a try. Frankly I never knew they made a series. I thought it would be a just one season mini series.

Well there is only one season and it was cancelled...which sucked because it ended on a cliff hanger.

This series is not great, has many flaws, but it did keep my interest and wanted to see how it played out. Now I will never know.
