Apparently, Dak is the only one who owns Hurts

And what arguments did I ever "dumb down"?
Uhmmmm.... This one. (Which is the only argument you ever make)

They believe its the responsibility of one player in Dallas, but it takes a team effort to succeed for the other 31 teams in their eyes.
It's your go to fallacy. Without adherence to your golden fallacy, you don't exist in your present form. I assume that is why you hold on to it so darn tight.

I thought that our arguing and debating was bad until I saw the online fighting over the new Supergirl movie.

Our conversation are civilized compared to the way those people are eviscerating each other..... and in a very personal way.

Real comparison.

Dak’s Career Playoff Record
- 2016 thru 2025
- 2 & 5 Playoff Record
- 0 NFC Conf Championships
- 0 Super Bowl Appearances
- 0 Super Championships
- 0 Super Bowl MVP’s

Hurts Career Playoff Record
- 2020 thru 2025
- 6 & 4 Playoff Record
- 2 NFC Conf Championships
- 2 Super Bowl Appearance
- 1 Super Bowl Championship
- 1 Super Bowl MVP
That's accurate if you replace "Daks" with "Dallas'" and "Hurts" with "Philadelphias".

Because once the postseason starts they are still the Dallas Cowboys, not the Dallas Daks. And something tells me it was more than Jalen Hurts that got Philly to a couple Super Bowls.

Stupid people with no sense of whats going on can't grasp this concept. They believe its the responsibility of one player in Dallas, but it takes a team effort to succeed for the other 31 teams in their eyes.
I'm curious about something - who are the people you call "they" who you say "believe its the responsibility of one player in Dallas"?

Can you name one member who has said this? Can you provide one post where this has been said? I ask because I can't think of a single person or recall a single post where ANYONE has said that - ever.

Like I said, I'm curious if you can point out a member or provide a post where that actually happened. I don't think it has. But if it did I didn't see it.

Well it's not a "dumb down". Its the truth. But I understood why. People with agendas or people who support people with agendas don't like truthful statements that make agendas look weak or less credible.

I get it.... my apologies for holding on to the truth, so darn tight.

The OP says it all the time
Maybe... but I don't think the OP pays attention to anyone else on the team other than her crush. She's one of those types that would shower Dak with praise for crushing an opponent 7-0 and totally ignore the fact that the defense tossed a goose egg. And then she would rush right over to CZ and make a new post about how much Dak owns whatever team he just managed to eek out a 7-0 win against.

Its always a team sport until Dak loses or wins. I am glad you acknowledge the Philadelphia Eagles are a much better team than the Cowboys though.

You have no way of know what Dak would or wouldnt do on a different team bc there is no way to quantify or factually prove it. So its fan fiction.

What we do know however, is Dak hasn't vlbeem able to win with the talented Cowboys TEAMS he's had. And that you types blame everybody and their mom for his failures. Dude was a turn over monster going 3 and out like crazy in his last playoff appearance. But yall want to blame the defense bc GB was mollywhopping the Cowboys.
Isn't it amazing...odd amazing...that some people can unequivocably...and very boldy...state something as fact which they made up in their head.

We live in a crazy world!

It's a very odd derangement...that if you say something critical of dak...it means you ONLY blame him EVER.

Rergardless of what you have said many times over. Regardless of any reminders.

As if NOBODY rags on Jerry, the defense, coaches, zeke, Rowdy, ball boy. It's CRAZY! But it does keep things stirred up.

Well i like to exaggerate on that a lil bit sometimes, just to have fun with the resident trolls, dont mind me.

Some people around here get extra sensitive when people are called out. For some reason, trolls are coddled and protected around here.

So I'll leave that be.

With that said, a certain poster here claimed our defense wasn't fully to blame last year despite being ranked 32nd in the league and historically our franchise's worst defense. So this certain person said "the quarterback has to keep scoring until the defense figures it out".

Three quick questions for you my friend. We don't always agree on topics, but I got to respect you because you came at me respectful, so maybe you can help me out here.

1. What do you believe kept us from reaching the playoffs, our 4th ranked offense or our 32nd ranked defense last season.

2. If a quarterback has to keep scoring until the defense figures it out, why did a GOAT/HOF quarterback like Tom Brady fail to keep scoring until his defense figured it out TWICE in the Superbowl against a team led by a quarterback, Eli Manning, who's not even in the HOF?

3. We all agree that Dak has come up short in the playoffs when we needed him to step up and the same can be said for a few other people on the team, but Dak makes the most, so the noise is justified at times.

But my last question is, in the first 49ers playoff game. Our team committed a league record 14 penalties vs a number one ranked 49ers defense. If no other quarterback and/or team ever beat a number one ranked defense after committing 14 penalties in the playoffs in NFL history, why was our quarterback and/or team expected to?

Your first sentence is a lie. No need to lie to try to boost up your likes lil bro. With that said, Dak has earned alot of criticism that has come his way, except for the criticism that he takes for things beyond his control.

You said, "as if nobody rags on Jerry, the defense, coaches" etc..... well where are all the multi pages of them?

Prove it.

Should be easy. Correct?

1. What do you believe kept us from reaching the playoffs, our 4th ranked offense or our 32nd ranked defense last season.
The obvious answer is the terrible defense. However, that 4th ranked offense was bad about leaning on the kicker too much. And something that irritated me a bit about the offense throughout last season - all too often Dak was the only one getting the praise. He had a decent season, sure, but he didn't do it by himself. Take Pickens off the roster and how does the offense look in 2025? He carried the offense when Lamb was out, did he not? Pickens had a monster year but I rarely heard any of the usual suspects giving him any credit for making the offense move the ball like they did. It was nothing but Dak, Dak, Dak. Someone has to catch the damn ball, right?

2. If a quarterback has to keep scoring until the defense figures it out, why did a GOAT/HOF quarterback like Tom Brady fail to keep scoring until his defense figured it out TWICE in the Superbowl against a team led by a quarterback, Eli Manning, who's not even in the HOF?
The offense has to try and keep up, not the QB.

But in seasons past the offense got themselves into early holes because of constant 3 and outs, not being able to move the ball, etc. Take the GB disaster for example - the defense sucked butt that day, but the offense didn't do them any favors either. They looked like world beaters once GB took their foot off the gas, though, and the usual suspects spoke only of how their hero did his best to rally the team back. Please - GB went on cruise control.

3. We all agree that Dak has come up short in the playoffs when we needed him to step up and the same can be said for a few other people on the team, but Dak makes the most, so the noise is justified at times.
What's the question here? Yes, Dak has struggled in the playoffs and in my opinion he has earned the choker label. And yes, since he's the highest paid more should be expected of him and he simply doesn't respond well in big games. Neither did Romo.

Which 49ers playoff game are you referring to? From what I remember of both recent games against them the defense did well enough to keep the games close, but the offense sputtered. Dallas' best chance was the game where Pollard got injured - after he went down the offense crumbled and the game was over. The consensus was that SF knew that putting the game in Dak's hands was going to work out in their favor and in the end it did.

About all the penalties - hell if I know. Just don't give up and throw in the towel. Remember the 5 turnover game Romo had against Buffalo? Dallas had no business winning that game, but they did. Hope you noticed I didn't give Romo the credit for that game. I have a stalker who attacks me every time I say that name.

But yet you want to keep one player and change the rest around him. Which one us believes it is "one player"?

I don't want the "one player" constantly coming back to squeeze every dollar every 3 years and delivering NOTHING.

That's just me though...you think the team exists for Dak.

Well i like to exaggerate on that a lil bit sometimes,

Two of those things are not like the other. Which goalpost are we choosing here?

For the record. This is what you claimed to be the truth.

Just understand...he's going to claim you never answered any of his questions and you ran. It's his ego protection scheme. Ego...such as it is.
