41 was an odd number for an edge rusher, but it's still weird to see single digit or teen(Parsons) defensive line # players.

Very low on the list, but also it's a new NFL when it seems like a lot of players seem to change their number till they hit it big.

I can’t stand this number thing.

You can’t tell if it’s a DB blitzing or what. Obviously you learn your own team well enough but not always the opponent.

I guess this was part of Goodells plan to put some sort of fun into the league.

This is the same league that first outlawed celebrating after scoring because it showed up the opponent (no it didn’t) then decides to allow organized celebrations in the end zone after a turnover. Theres time for that, but not to take the time to correct the blind officials. Yeah Rog….what a FUN league. Biggest wannabe I’ve ever seen. His face ruins every draft. Yeah I’m sure he shakes hands the same way when he arrives at owners meetings. Barf.

I feel like it's an old head complaint, but I agree.

I liked some flexibility that was introduced back when WRs were able to wear 10-19, and I liked the expansion to let them have single digits that happened fairly recently.

But OLB/DE is basically the same thing in some defenses, yet they allow OLB to be from 0-49, while DE is 50+ (excluding 80s). It's an arbitrary distinction, and you'll get a DE (Parsons) wearing #11 or #1.

Basically they've just gotten to muddy with the reasoning which means its probably gone too far.
