I doubt he gets signed this season unless he has some way of proving his innocence in the off field issue. Not only does he carry the off field baggage, but he really hasnt been very good as a pro either.

I'm all for a buy low scenario on a former 1st round pick, but I'm perfectly fine avoiding the ones who commit armed robbery, kidnapping and on top of it are dumb enough to leave the evidence in a group chat.

Unless there is some wild evidence that changes the facts we have this guy doesn't deserve a 2nd chance at the NFL employment and shame on any team who does sign him.

Agree 100% .....I always say every story has two sides, and let's wait before passing judgment but
****hard to imagine all the allegations charged are lies
**** pretty sure Lions released him coz their own investigation supported some, if not all, the charges. Their decision to cut the cord (1st-round pick in his 3rd year ) this quickly speaks volumes, especially the financial loss they are eating.

Why not off waivers? Detroit has paid around $9.5 million of his contract and that leaves less than 5 million over the next two years.

The feds have already said that the victims were not the ones who robbed him.
