Okay, that's the 1st year I bet $100 on Dallas to win the superbowl. I got 15-1 odds that year. Won it again the next year at 3.5-1 odds.Reminds me of 1992.

he was hobbling aroundFake Injury. Trying to make him out to be some type of Iron Man.
No. Every team has their fair share of bad luck.
...and a dump truck wide hole Demarco Murray fumble.
Yes there was plenty of time left in the game. So who know what would have happened.he was hobbling around
bottom line is we could not pressure him enough
which is why odds are even if the Refs had done right and allowed the catch and we had scored, Rodgers would have marched down the field on us
Very true.True. And good teams also make their own luck sometimes.
Thanks for posting this still pic. I have rehashed this topic many times:Careless!

Of course par for the courseI remember people saying the 2014 team would be lucky to win six games. They won six games by week seven and were a "Dez caught it" play away from the NFC Championship Game.
That play hunts me more than the Dez play. I needed therapy to forgive Demarco for that catch. I was so angry I was happy we didn’t resign him. Dark timesI can still here Aikman in the booth saying, "DeMarco Murray hits his head on the goalpost, Joe. There was nobody there. It's the biggest hole that I have seen."
Most people felt that way after Wk1 when SF beat us. I remember the doom and gloom predictions vs the Titans.I remember people saying the 2014 team would be lucky to win six games. They won six games by week seven and were a "Dez caught it" play away from the NFC Championship Game.
Yeah, like the fumble they DID NOT recover.we have been cursed by such in way too many playoff games.
Starting with the Catch; though one could argue all the way back to the Ice Bowl and earlier; where just one or two plays doomed us
Yeah, it's not like we've been in mulitiple champ games. All teams can have bad luck but 30 years is not bad luck its bad management.
Were Ron and Linda perhaps involved? The softball has now been served up so which option is best?
1. Ignore it and risk a stroke?
2. Crush it out the park and risk suspension?
3. Post a picture of Madonna?
4. Utilize ambiguity with a witty yet subtle remark?
Absolute back breaker....and a dump truck wide hole Demarco Murray fumble.
very true that is why they play the games to 60 minutesYes there was plenty of time left in the game. So who know what would have happened.
Yeah...I posted that still so we could see that Murray wasn't getting roughed up. Peppers made a nice play for sure...but he tipped the ball out in mid air...from behind ? I can see if you just got hammered hard and ball knocks out. But that was just...{sigh}...can;t say it here. Thanks for posting this still pic. I have rehashed this topic many times:

Some folks will forever talk negatively about Martin. He blocked Julius Peppers COMPLETELY out of the hole. Martin is the main reason why that hole was so wide, but guess what, everybody? Peppers was never chopped liver. As the video clearly shows in the link I posted, Peppers recovered, leaped BACK INTO THE HOLE, and stripped the ball.
Peppers was an above-average defensive player. He made a play. In fact, Peppers made a great play. Defenders are allowed to do that.
However, n-o-t-h-i-n-g Peppers did excuses Demarco Murray's inability to properly protect the ball while entering the line of scrimmage. Adequately protecting the ball should have equaled a huge run or touchdown. Blaming Martin for BLOWING a player like Peppers OUT of the hole is just...
Whatever. It's just CowboysZone as always.
As we have talked about before...it is very difficult to point at one play as a game changer...but if there ever was one...that's it.Absolute back breaker.
Biggest play of the game if you ask me.
Call your bookie.Okay, that's the 1st year I bet $100 on Dallas to win the superbowl. I got 15-1 odds that year. Won it again the next year at 3.5-1 odds.
I was going to say exactly that… Freaking Julius Peppers…Thanks for posting this still pic. I have rehashed this topic many times:

there were 2 guys who had an angle to cut him off, no way he goes for td.Up to thatplay Murray was working his way to the top of my "List". I'll never forgive him for letting the ball get tapped out of his hands in what should have been a beeline for the endzone.
