Hate to play armchair psychologist but I always remember my professor in my abnormal psychology class saying most personality disorders reach “full bloom” when folks hit their late 20s.

Look at Roger Staubach. he got hit as hard as anyone back when you could all but assassinate QBs and he is doing quite well.
