There's no going back once you formulate a correct diagnosis based on facts. It's like trying to make oil and vinegar mix. I think most of us who are on board with moving on from Dak gave him proper chances. (with a couple exceptions on this forum) The fact is, no matter the situation. In BIG GAMES when the lights are bright. You DO NOT trust Dakota Prescott. You just don't. Anyone that does is just glutton for punishment.

I don’t disagree there. I don’t trust Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson either. And despite winning a SB I’m not sure if I trust a Nick Foles or Jalen or Darnold. I trust Mahomes….its a real short list.

It should be. But the Cowboys haven’t even been to a conference championship in 30….whatever standards those 90 teams set is long gone. The standard is low to the floor.

"Hurtd" doesn't overestimate his abilities and actually shines in big games. Stafford..even moreso. He lost to Seattle...but that wasn't because he said, "My D is weak...guess I have to choke like Dak..."...no he competed.

I think some of these pups just don't really know what true success feels like? They project what they think it is because of their current circumstances without real understanding.

In some ways, even though it makes me old, I'm glad I got to witness REAL success for my team. I was young at the end of Landry but the glory years were right there. These guys are 30+ out!

Sir, you can be an ageist when it comes to the 70s Cowboys but I was around for the 90s lol….and still have vhs tapes of our SB runs….yes believe it or not I was around for VHs tapes lol.
