That's long been Jerry's commanded and demanded way of doing things and Shotty is certainly not an exception to the rule. Despite that being the case, he has obviously gained the favor of the players. His performance in the oncoming months will play a strong role in his remaining stay. No guarantees.

The defense was the main cause of concern last year. Whether this version of the defense holds up or not will likely have a strong bearing on the likelihood of continuing things as is or not. Of course, that's not to say the offense gets a guaranteed continuance of their current status. Success will be the key.
