Just noticed a couple of weeks ago that he had a total of 91 tackles last season with only 6 starts. He can only get better with a year under his belt. So yeah, he probably won't start the season as a starter but who knows by season's end.

Projected as a 6th-7th rounder we took him in the 5th. Used picks 174 and 204 to trade up to get him at 152. Draft grade as average backup or special-teamer.

Very possible........Stephen Jones gives him a huge contract and he misses most of the 2027 season with a major injury

I love the depth across the board. Can’t wait to see the second year guys along with the obvious, and even guys like Overton and Barham, etc….

We cannot say they “ran it back.” Not on defense anyway.

I dunno, I think they sign him. Remember he is Spauldings buddy and the future scout in trainings big find. You know Jerry is great at “grooming.”

I really don’t think they let 0 walk away. Even if he misses most of the year they will still bring him back on the supposed cheap. Stephen is probably secretly rooting for that.

Honestly they really have accumulated some decent talent on defense, and not just at the starter level. It really should be something that works out. That’s why they play em.

I had him in a few mock drafts as well. But I did not use a draft simulator.
Just looked at a list of how the players were ranked. And selected names within 5 players or so when Dallas was picking.

He filled in decent when players were injured. And that himself was coming off an injury from college.

I think he will be a surprise to many fans.

At the time they said his projection dropped due to injures from college. Or he could have been a 3rd or 4th round pick.
Again they tell us us they got value for the pick. The normal lip service when they trade up like that.

I think he can be a good player, and surprise fans. From what little I seen and heard.

I love how he’s showing instincts and football IQ.

Appears his struggles are more inexperience which can be improved with reps as opposed to the lack of the above which generally cannot. See one Kenneth Murray.

They moved up round five to take him meaning someone else wanted him . As a 5 I thought he performed while others were injured or lost in space . I want to see him with this DC and several new LB’s next to him .

I was impressed that a 21 year old rookie managed to get snaps for a dc who didn’t want to give them to young players.

It wasn’t a great rookie year….full of ups and downs….but there were definitely ups. I heard anything about him this year.

Drafted him at 20…21 when the season started….

I already have us winning the SB. But if what you're saying comes true, we're going 20-0. Lol I've been drunk on the Kool-Aid since the Parcells era, but EVENTUALLY my prediction has to come true. Right?

Man, the latter of your comment is a good position to be in. We can always franchise him in a "prove it" deal. He's a Cowboy who always wears a smile. He's the type that Jerry finds a way to take care of. Either he gets a big contract, or his parents will become the new owners of a company. The reason I think we could tag him is because I don't think GP gets a second tag. Please keep in mind that I'm a bad couch GM.
