Twitter: Dak against playoff teams

I think some of these pups just don't really know what true success feels like? They project what they think it is because of their current circumstances without real understanding.

In some ways, even though it makes me old, I'm glad I got to witness REAL success for my team. I was young at the end of Landry but the glory years were right there. These guys are 30+ out!
It's like these meaningless individual stats should be as satisfying as an actual playoff run!

he was never coming.... he was never interested in an average Cowboys roster.
Yep, Brady was smart going to a Super Bowl ready team. But I guess to some it was all him. He played all the offensive positions and some of the defensive ones as well.
The Bucs don't even go to that SB without Brady.

He would have been worth the rental just because a QB like that can take you anywhere. Definitely a guy who could put the team on his whole back unlike the bums Jerry keeps trotting out at QB.

Once he goes I won't talk about him. You can't be obsessed with a gnat that keeps buzzing in your face...it's completely natural to swat until you nail the sucker.
Yep. I wouldn't even think about Romo except for the misguided people that try to label him elite, or even more ridiculous, that he was better than Aikman.

It'll be the same with Dak. I'll only mention him after he's retired to counter the people that will try to deify him even more than they do now.

The bums are the QBs…..not the actual GM or owner lol. Crazy..z

Romo and Dak are both good QBs who have been let down by the GM in charge. The fact they even make the playoffs with that nut and bid nut son in charge is incredible.

thats why people choose to be bigger fans of Dak than otherwise, because you make dumb comments like that. You're partially responsible for the Dak only fans you regularly single out.

The guy from the Planet of the Apes responsible for the ape revolt and apes taking over the planet.
What a stupid comment.....

Flashback for you, girl (or guy, whatever the case may be). Remember 2018 and how it was going before Jerry brought Amari Cooper on board? They were 3-4 and sucking arse offensively. Amari shows up and they finish the season 7-2.

But let me guess because I already know how you think - that was all Dak with the turnaround, right? Let me ask you this - if Dak was so great that year, why wasn't he carrying the team? Why did Jerry have to go out and bring in another receiver to bail Dak's arse out?

So it's a team game when Brady is winning super bowls, but if Dak manages to win a playoff game again it will be all because of Dak. And should Dallas lose their next playoff game we will blame the defense and call it a team game again.

Just wanting to make sure I'm getting this right.

Ok the anti crowd is the ones who say it’s on the qb lol. Those aren’t pro Dak guys.

Not taking anything away from Brady’s ability. But there were other QBs who could have won with that team. Winston may have been able to if he wasn’t a turnover machine.

Exactly right. I set that trap, and he walked right into it.

I mean c'mon...

To your point: Romo recently made a comment about how disappointed he is that he couldn't bring us a SB. None of the old animosity I had towards him came up...not his pouty sulking on the sidelines, his goofiness, his lack of locker room leadership...just meh...

It's only "on the QB" when he wins. See how you praise Dak for passing ...but never mention he's throwing to 2 all pro WRs.
Pickens didn’t become a all pro until
He requested to come to Dallas and benefit off both Lamb and Dak.

As far as Lamb goes….we see how he looks with Dak as opposed to the trash behind him.

See...this proves you know little about football. Pickens ABILITY was unquestioned. His QBs were trash and his attitude was as well - chicken and egg there.

Bottom line, if Dak is so good at making Pickens and Lamb...make another HOV. Let's not pay CeeDee or Pickens and then watch you squeal about Dak having "no help".

They are also NOT the same poster...they all swear it.

It’s been 30 years of mediocrity. Dak is 32. That’s how long it’s been… you can’t be too tired iof mediocrity when Jerry and his son run the team. What’s that plan to wait out him and his son?

No before the mediocrity, the cowboys were bad. That is something people seem to try to psychologically blackmail us with, whenever someone brings up that we are not going to win a super bowl with the current quarterback. Yes Jerry is the problem, and things look grim, but I rather take a chance to get past the mediocrity and perhaps hit gold, or perhaps sink to new lows.

People bringing up the Campo years, doesn't change that some of us want change. Keeping the team mediocre won't lead to us getting better, we will still get to the same point where we will have to take a chance, eventually. It just seems to be postponing the inevitable for the sake of keeping the team mediocre for longer. I'm just pointing out where the psychology of some of those differ from others.

Philadelphia is able to move on from Quarterbacks and so are other teams. Yes the cowboys have Jerry, coaching issues and other problems, but it seems like the only option is to find someone who can rally the troops in the playoffs with on the field leadership, and make up for the lack of coaching from puppet coaches.

Romo and Dak, both good quarterbacks that could win on other teams, but here they have similar playoff records, and I don't see us getting super talented teams like 2007, 2014, 2016 enough to get too excited that a talented team is going to help carry a good quarterback through the playoffs.
