Danny White was certainly better in playoff games. He was 5-5 and lost to the likes of Joe Montana because of "The Catch". He probably would've won a SB if that didn't happen.

Almost came back in "The Catch" game too. Clips make it look like the last play but if it wasn't for a fist-full-of-jersey tackle...that catch is never talked about.

You only brought up two QBs. That’s because most players take everything they can get. The two you mentioned are outliers. But sure, go ahead and blame Dak as the only player to take as much as he could. The brotherhood comment was stupid and IMO, didn’t deserve that much. The blame goes 100% to Jerry for caving. Unlike you, I think Dak is adequate but I was ready to let him walk for the price.

Brady was not a physical specimen, but his leadership intangibles are all-time, all-time. Dak is not the greatest thrower, BUT he does have leadership intangibles. And yet...he's not on THAT level because their "brotherhood" are the men in their lockerroom...not the NFLPA or other QBs on other teams.

I don’t think that you understand that we’re mostly of the same opinion. I already mentioned that Jerry should have let Dak walk and was over paid. What more do you need? Comparing him to Brady for taking less is horse manure. Would I have preferred Dak to do what Brady did? Of course. But most players don’t. And no one forced Jerry to that much. The POINT...is those two didn't have to accept less money.The VERY BEST....accepting less money to help build the team is way more significant than you presume.

my only point was that comparing those two QBs to any other when it comes to contracts isn’t fair. They are not obligated to and most players won’t take less. Would I be happy if our players, Dak mainly had taken less? Of course. And yes, as I’ve stated, he is over paid. I’m just not going to hold it against him or any other player. That’s fine if you do or if you don’t. I know you’re a cowboys fan like the rest of us but don’t take it so personal if I insinuate you’re a fan of other teams.
