What was your most exciting win as a Cowboys fan?

As a counterpoint to the most disappointing loss thread on the front page... what was your favorite or most exciting win as a Cowboys fan?

I'm too young to have watched the Super Bowl teams. My favorite win was seeing Dallas beat the Seahawks in 2014. We went on the road against the defending SB champs. After falling behind in the 4th quarter, Romo completed a 3rd and 20 pass to keep a do-or-die drive going, and then DeMarco Murray bulled through Richard Sherman for the go-ahead TD with 3 minutes to go. Watching that TD run is about as excited as I've ever been in my life.

1992 – Super Bowl XXVII And it being pretty much a blowout, also exciting to be back in the bowl in a while and totally stoked up the entire game watching a totally dominant Cowboy's Team

Dallas-SF, September 18th, 2011. Mostly because we were at that game in Candlestick. Romo came back out from the locker room after a broken rib and punctured lung to lead Dallas to a win in OT via Jesse Holley. It was a great game with a dramatic comeback

Yup. i remember the post game interview with Romo. The reporter said Tony you had 4ints in the first half. Tony's reply was "was it only 4, it felt like 7". Lol. The soul crushingness of that stadium was delightful!

The 2014 Seahawk game is a fantastic pick and would be somewhere close to the top of my list.

I always loved the 99 season opener comeback against Washington too. That one might be my #1.

The 2011 game against SF where we won on the jesse Holley OT reception also comes to mind as well as the 2014 comeback against the rams. 2014 was just a special year.

This game was it for me...... Sure, all the early success of the 70's was memorable, but I was just a teen back then, and no where as knowledgeable as I was later on. The 1992 NFCCG was the most exciting win of my young life, and a large part was because of who the opponent was. It was only 11 years removed from 'the catch' game, so I still held a great deal of animosity towards SF. The super bowls were great, especially super bowl XXX, but I will never forget the 1992 NFCCG.

Are you intentionally being sarcastic? Too Tall retired in 1989 and Phil Simms never played for Buffalo. Neither one would have played in Super Bowl XXVII

He's referring to a game against the Giants in 1985. That play changed the momentum and Dallas beat the Giants 28-21 and won the NFC East title which was the last time they did so with Landry as coach.

I can’t describe SB27 and how I ended up in the building within this space. Absolutely surreal, so that’s the answer for me….. a memoir might actually be interesting.

I was not in attendance for the game before that one, in SF, but that one had sone sort of feeling I haven’t felt since. We made the SUPER BOWL!! At that point, I not only did not know I’d be attending the SB if they won, but I just flat out did not expect to beat them. Magic season, but I felt like maybe the ride was over there. They were better. Isaac Holt got burnt long. Flag. Then the good times begin.
