News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

I am surprised this thread has 26 pages and 520 posts !! lol
My view is not to defend or pass judgement , none of you have all the facts lol.

I will just let Tony take care of this, it is his problem not mine or anyone else.
He has plenty of $$ so it might just be dismissed .
 
I think Tony was drunk or on something.

But once a police officer asks you to do a sobriety test or take a breathalyzer ....... they already decided to arrest you.

Nobody has ever taken a field sobriety test and gotten back in their car and drove away.

Waiting for the facts is sound but how many times has someone got charged with a dwi and it be a misunderstanding?

a fair number of times but relatively few overall. However getting it reduced happens quite often
I am sure you would be very disappointed if this were to happen here

I don't think Romo's life will be altered whether or not it gets reduced. Still gonna be loaded and have a great life. Meanwhile, you will still be Kaiser and still on this forum crying about something.

Oh this guys a idiot....

Cunningham's attorney, Sarah Schielke, told KUSA she also represents four other people who were arrested by Haferman under similar circumstances. She said each of those cases was later dismissed after breath or blood test results failed to support the DUI allegations.

They need to re-open every case that involved him. He's unhinged.
 
I would think after he was arrested if he hadn't been drinking or taking any drugs he would ask for a breath and blood test.

I would think it would go a long way to proving his innocence and maybe saving his job at CBS.

A hot day in the Sun could possibly make you perform poorly in a field sobriety test.

But if there is no alcohol in your blood pretty good chance there you haven't been drinking.

Haven't heard why they pulled him over but if it was because of a stop sign or traffic light or a bit over the speed limit that's definitely not as bad as driving drunk in my opinion.

Don't understand why he didn't call his lawyer immediately somebody with his money should have one on speed dial at all times.

As a matter of fact if it was me and I've never drank in my life I would be going to urgent care and getting my blood tested immediately to prove that I was not driving under the influence of alcohol. So when I went to court I would have that evidence on my side I wouldn't trust the cops blood test or breathalyzer .

Then to hear rumors of he having problems in his marriage? Poor guy. No wonder he had such a bad week. Hope things get better soon for him.

Starting October 1, 2025, Florida drivers face a major legal change under what’s being called “Trenton’s Law.” For the first time, a refusal to take a breath or urine test during a DUI investigation can now lead to criminal charges — even for first-time offenders.

Until now, refusing a breath or urine test after a DUI arrest only meant losing your driver’s license for 1 year through the DMV. But under the new law, saying “no” to testing can result in a misdemeanor criminal record, possible jail time, and fines on top of administrative suspension.
