Jane Slater: Every player is a go for camp!

Good. And a little surprised. A month ago I figured, as usual. Overshown and EZE would start on PUP, and possibly Bland. Even if for a few days to a week for what hey will say conditioning purposes. It is what they always have done.

However, this off season they have not followed the usual way of doing things. Right down to any cute sayings.
So maybe this year will actually be different.

This is actually news. Most of the teams in the league have a couple guys at least, that aren't ready yet or a no show. This might be a first for the Cowboys. Somebody might wanna look into this.

Recently it was reported that Bland has been ready for awhile but they slow walked it since it was the offseason and wanted to give the foot as much time as possible. Overshown was in OTAs/minicamp, Not much was said on EZE except that he looked like he has been working out a lot.

I can see a lot of these players having days off to ensure they're ready for the season

Some guys know the new coaches have no connection to them and don't need much of an excuse to cut them.

This is Cowboys Mission Control. This will be the final countdown to camp launch... t-minus 59 minutes and counting. All departments confirm go/no go. Training staff?

Totally unnecessary waste of space?

Totally unnecessary waste of space..? Go? No go?

For the love of... Somebody find Rowdy. He'll be hanging around the kids, creeping them out again.

Correct and just because they're fully ready to go don't mean they won't keep them on account and make sure they don't bring them in too fast When it starts to get physical with pads they're going to use these guys a lot less right now and they'll build them into something more full speed...

At least they are available but that doesn't mean the trainers and the coaching staff are going to abuse them Most of these guys are vets I mean EZE could use the reps but... There's no reason to right out of the gate start pushing these guys with injury histories..

Them being ready for camp is great but I want them ready for game one and not have any non contact or weird injuries in camp or preseason just because fans want to see them on the field.

Wow! Seems like it's been a while since this has happened for the Cowboys! Hope that's a good sign!
