Day 1 the run Def looked good or DAL run game was lacking. Dak was torching the DAL secondary but its just the beginning. Long TC ahead.

Hell, that's expected.......our offensive strength vs defensive weakness but the good news is they get tested by one of the best offenses in the league. That can only help........

Yup, the fact our D has to practice against an elite O can only help. They will go against much lesser O’s throughout the season.

Protected from what? He should be playing a center field role and that’s typically what he’s solid at.

This is a more complicated system than last year. If Hooker struggles with the mental part I could see Locke and Thompson as the starting safeties with Downs as the Nickelback.

Of course that’s always the end goal, but if your practices are enhanced by going against good competition, it only helps….iron sharpens iron. I’m hoping practicing against a top tier O well help the D develop.
