You are missing this part of his post..........Romo had critical turnovers ( on final drives or late game ) that killed our chances of advancing to the playoffs.

Lost three straight win and in or go home games to end three straight seasons against each of the Divisional opponents

One of those games he was sacked 6 times, got a measly 46 yards in support from the running game, defense gave up 31, Romo finished with a rating of 106.

Another one of those games the defense gave up over 270 yards rushing.

What was the third one? The 2013 week 17 game against the Eagles? That has to be the game you're talking about. Only problem is Romo didn't play in that game. Kyle Orton did. Romo was hurt the prior week against Washington.

This is why it is hard to take the Prescott extremists seriously. You would give Prescott a pass using the reasons I just listed and you slam Romo for a game he didn't even play in.

This post is not to defend Romo. It is only to point out the hypocrisy and double standards.

Results wise Danny White is far superior to Romo and Dak. Danny was "The Catch" away from a SB game.

That is true, but he also inherited a team that had won the division the previous 4 years, including 2 Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win. That said, Danny threw the prettiest pass of any QB the Cowboys ever had. Have to wonder what his career would have been like if he didn't have to sit on the bench his first 4 years.

I disagree. First of all he seemed to embrace these big moments and as a fan that was fun, I jsut remember a lot of fun games in that era

There were many moments within all the success and failure that all hinge on very specific outcomes within each play. IDK I’m at peace with his run. I think it was all worth it . If that makes sense .

Like him or not...Romo brought excitement and flair...that did make it fun to watch. His highlight reel is proof...I show it to the ha- er...critics and they won;t even watch because even they know.

He'll get credit of an error at the worst time..but ZERO credit for pretty much single-handely putting us in that position to begin with.

Humans love to hate. They forget the complete reality of it to do so.

I appreciated that he knew it was a dream come true and he wasn’t afraid to take risks. I feel like if you ran that 5 year stretch back there’s a 50/50 chance we at least play in a superbowl kinda thing. Weird luck

He made his own luck. He took more risks and sometimes it paid off sometimes it didn’t

Much of it is warranted but I’m not going to put the fumbled FG on him. There’s a reason for the rule change that affected it the very next year. And he shouldn’t have been in that position to begin with.
