Mayfield feels disrespected

..its tough one, daddio. Bucs recently won a SB with Brady.

Then Mayfield steps in. Bucs start to skid.

The par is a mirage of sorts. Brady just happen to land on good team, that put it together that year.

It's all bad luck or good luck. Anything in the middle doesnt matter.

I agree with Baker.

The Bucs primary issue at this point is their HC as well as GM.

Todd Bowles is a great, great DC. But he has had bad to mediocre stints at HC now for a decade combined with the Bucs and Jets.

I was actually shocked they didn’t fire him after their last failed season. Just egregious at this point.

I think Mayfield is a QB on that level of Prescott and Goff. He should have similar success under his belt.

Bucs started to skid when Arians left the HC job and Bowles (great DC, crappy HC) took the reigns

Mayfield isn’t a top QB, but he is certainly on the level of guys like Darnold and Goff - good enough to win a lot of games with.

He's about #15..... that's where most people have him:

After this season he’ll be available to all 32 teams. Tampa Bay won’t tag him as that’s a $50 million hit on their 2027 salary cap. He’ll get to find out what the NFL thinks he’s worth.

you do remember that Brady's last year was a losing record, don't you? winning a division with a losing record tells you how bad the division was.

"That's really the disappointing part -- to feel undervalued after thinking you've earned it," said Mayfield, who led the Bucs to back-to-back NFC South titles in 2023 and 2024 before an injury-marred season derailed his and the team's efforts in 2025.

He said even if the Bucs wanted to continue to try to negotiate, he said he won't be speaking to the organization and that, his agent is "not going to be bothering him with it unless he's actually recognized for his value."

If you haven’t been watching this years “Quarterback” on Netflix, you’re missing a pretty good show.
Let's go after Mayfield because your boy Dak has sucked for 10 years.

You would have said the same about Roger Staubach before he won a SB.
I’m just wondering what has he won I mean he can barely even win his division.

I think Baker is solid. Just inconsistent. I guess a lot of these guys are. They can look all world at times and then look shockingly bad. That probably fits everyone but Mahomes and Hurts.
