All of you that slam this team all the time over contracts, why do they wait and the price goes up..... yadadadada. Did you even notice that Gibbs and Bijan or "Holding in?" See what happens when you have top players at a position?

Amazing how all of the sudden the big boy from the bucs has a bad back and is demanding to be traded. What is up with this? I thought it weas only Dallas that screwed these contracts up?

It is quite pleasant not having this distraction. I take my hat off to Pickens on this one. Last offseason and preseason was so unenjoyable because of the Micah drama. Man it’s nice not to have that this year. Starts the year out on a positive vibe.

All of these guys are tremendously underpaid to play a child's game.
That’s why we elect people that give them and the owners tax breaks they need and most importantly deserve.

The goal is for them all to have a large boat to dock onto their larger boat. It makes the world better.

Ironic coz you thank Zeke for Gibbs and Bijan Holding in.......both players, like Zeke, are in the 3rd year of their rookie contracts and owe their clubs two more years (4th and 5th year option ). They are elite/top players at their positions, saying I want my new deal now.

BTW......you can also thank Stephen Jones. Remember when we intentionally ran the hell out of DeMarco Murray the final year of his contract? Dude led the league in rushing yards and touches. He had 449 touches, a Cowboy record for RBs ( 6th most in league history) but SJ low-balled him, saying 'any RB can run behind our O-line '.

Well, Zeke's agent remembered and blindsided Stephen after his 3rd year by threatening to hold out without a new contract. Rather than calling Zeke's bluff, Stephen panicked and rest .......gave him a record-setting contract for RBs.

Murray record-setting year for touches.......

if that is the way you feel, you shed watching, supporting, spending money on it.

Lol, I noticed that. I go through rotoworld and check updates a few times a week in order to prepare to dominate in my fantasy league and saw both the rbs last night.

Its funny cause I hadn't heard a peep about it until then. Its literally just the standard routine now.

Say Dallas is 4-6 at the trade deadline. You trade Pickens. You have to trade him. I mean you really have to trade the guy. A trade in lieu of screwing up the contract is the only way. Trading Pickens at the deadline if the team is out of it makes sense. A smart GM would have to consider a trade. I really really really think a trade has to be discussed.

I don’t think anyone criticized the Cowboys for the hold ins. To be honest Pickens should be doing it right now. Pickens should not be playing on a franchise tag.

And his agent shouldn’t be letting him.

The only thing I can think is maybe his value is lower than I thought and they are trying to raise it. But it’s still risky. But if this is true then his value must be extremely low. It’s the only way to make sense of it.

Pickens doesn’t have any value.
