ESPN: Execs, coaches rank top NFL off-ball LBer for 2026

Is this about Brooks?

is there another pro bowl level LB that even has training camp speculation?

The Bobby Wagner one looks like BS. If many teams really thought Wagner was still that good, it looks like he would be signed already. Cowboys don't agree with them.
I think he is a perfect fit here.

He no longer can cover. But you make him a 2 down linebacker going forward and you have a stud.

I think if we are looking to make a serious move at LBer, the player is probably one of these two lists

Interesting that Landman was originally a UDFA pickup of the Atlanta Falcons.

Holy crap, Eric Wilson had 17 tackles for loss last year, in addition to 6.5 sacks.

Former UDFA who has bounced around the league. Interesting too that he played for the Vikings last year, where supposedly Cowboy Dline coach Marcus Dixon makes LBs look better because of his guys.

All this and also that CP doesn’t place much emphasis on LBs in his system means I believe Dallas will be fine at LB this year.

Wagner is like that girl you been trying to get for a decade. Don't look as good. But at this point you just one good shot at it..

Wagner himself is probably waiting to sign.

At his age he doesn't want (or need) a training camp.
Plus, if a contender loses a star player the price either goes up or you land on a team with a shot at a ring, or maybe both depending how important either of those things are to you.

There's no incentive for these older guys to come beat themselves up in TC.
