So we went from comparing Barham to a rookie Pro bowl, 1st team AP, D POY runner up, and D ROY to a solid starter. Congrats on becoming team tapping the brakes.

Now when he becomes a solid 400-500 snap rotational player as a rookie who shows ups and downs as he develops it will be OK to celebrate that too, as that's probably a realistic floor for his rookie season and where expectations should be out of a 3rd round rookie. The only rookie I really will judge harshly if hes not at least an average starter is Downs.

Clowney hasn’t attended an off season program in years. Parker and Schottenheimer wanted this complete defensive rebuild to start with the voluntary workouts in April.

Unless there is an injury, I think Clowney was one and done here. If there’s another pass rusher on the way I think It happens via trade.

All kidding aside,Ro Mac was the last lb we had that put fear in opposing offences,if he had his head on straight and sean lee stayed healthy we would have had the best lbs in the league,imo

Mason Graham got drafted out of MICH last year and is already beasting.

As someone who is a fan of the Barham pick I'm glad he's impressing early on, but I also throw out 90% of what I hear about the first couple weeks of camp. When I hear hype around a rookie I'm quickly reminded of this thread

Nothing wrong with my head. We got 3 solid rookies in Downs, Lawrence, and Barham. It looks like Phil Mafah has a chance at being a solid player too.
