Cowboys won't play starters in the preseason!

He needs to earn his keep at every turn until he shows he can perform when the games count. If he's a top performer and we rest guys before a playiff game THEN he can rest. Until then he hasn't proven anything
Nah, we don't want him to learn or anything. ;)

I honestly wonder how far they will go with it.

I really dont have a firm opinion on Data Centers for AI, but I hope they are doing it for a better reason than giving an incel an AI girlfriend
It's something that you don't want to fall behind on.

If I'm an opposing Defensive coordinator I double Pickens and press everyone else and force us into the run. I'm sure we'll see some of that at some point.
So you think it’ll work having CD 1 on 1 for them? Flournoy can also beat single coverage and even though Jake wasn’t great, he does get open. Let them double Pickens and see how long it takes for them to change their strategy.

If we had the same defense we had last year they should play all four quarters of preseason

I think its STUPID not to have rookies playing

so their first taste of NFL gametime speed is Game 1 of the regular season?

IDIOTIC

It's definitely a pick your poison scenario but history shows that CeeDee is not at his best vs press coverage. Flournoy is good but he doesn't scare anyone yet.

I think they’ll both be plenty good. Play calling is going to factor in as well, as well as how effective the run game is.

What a shock. They might as well get rid of preseason. Waste of time.
Pre-season should go the way of the pro bowl.

I think if you add a few practices against other teams you get a better evaluation as the staffs can agree on situational stuff they want to work on etc.

How do teams do that lose their starters in preseason? How did we do when we lost Romo?
Are you serious? We losing old man Romo during preseason was a blessing. Rookie Dak helped lead the team to a 13-3 record, won a franchise record 11 games straight during the same regular season, were able to secure the #1 NFC playoff seed, plus host an NFC Divisional Playoff game.
