Go get Jason Witten!
You know he wasn't that great but they only gave him a year. Brady was horrible the first year as well.

Also Witten wanted to play again and he did. But now that he's into coaching I don't think he'll be in the booth again for a long time. You know he wasn't that great but they only gave him a year. Brady was horrible the first year as well.
Yeah don't get me wrong. He will make a much better coach then he ever was as an announcer. Just feel a second year been nice to see if he could improve. Brady survived because of how he sees the game. Also Witten wanted to play again and he did. But now that he's into coaching I don't think he'll be in the booth again for a long time.
I'd suggest a dreadlocks wig or an afro in the natural selection.with toupee or no
I wouldn't say pushing. He was the second string team for FOX till Brady took that spot and they were demoted to third.Honestly, they keep pushing Greg Olsen and I think he is awful. Watt isn't any better.
This is the real CZ poll the people want: Does this shock anyone?Brother, I hear you. Been there and done that TWICE. It's not fair at all.
No. No audio coming from the game makes it more boring.Does anyone else mute the TV during games?
Especially if there is no test on record showing he was actually over the limit. The Morals Clause is a little shaky for something like this minor
Romo could fight it
When you think of the stuff that has happened over the years and no one got fired for
I mute if Collingsworth is doing the broadcast. Cannot stand that guy.No. No audio coming from the game makes it more boring.
Oh God no, I think Watt stinks but Olsen is even worseI bet Watt is temporary. I'd try to get Greg Olsen in there.
yawnRomo used to be good - really good ... but it is clear that his prep is non-existent now. He's just showing up and talking. CBS likely does want out. I can't blame them ... his coverage has been pretty bad the last few years.
Agreed. He started out so hot that really there was no place to go but down. But before he got there, he got a huge deal from CBS, so good for him. Now, CBS likely regrets that because Romo and Nance were unable to maintain their popularity at that level. I won't be surprised if some settlement ends up being reached to exit his contract.Oh, I'm not saying he won't find work. I'm sure other networks will hire him in a heartbeat BUT will it be as their #1 analyst? That was my question.........
BTW.......my thinking has nothing to do with citation issues. Just seems he lost some star power over the last couple of years.
100%.......Yeah, I think they will settle also, and don't be surprised to see Romo sign another huge TV deal. ( maybe streaming services, Amazon Prime or Netflix )Agreed. There are definitely some announcing teams networks are using that could benefit from having Romo IMO.
Wonder Troy will be more than Romo's $17M per year......
