What are you looking to see Vs the Rams in the joint practice?

Some notables from the early part of team drills
:- Nothing big from the offense
- Dak targeted CeeDee on a play-action pass but it was broken up
-Jaydon Blue fumbled
-Joe Milton with the 2s- Klayton Adams was calling the offense
-Donovan Ezeiruaku had a sack and a nice run stop
-Caleb Downs had an impressive tackle for loss on a run play

Cowboys defense dominating Rams. Their biggest play was a 12 yard out. This is great news that some won’t get it because many don’t think training camp and preseason counts. This scrimmage counted for a lot. The Cowboys showing that they aren’t the same defense as last year.

-Joe Milton intercepted on a play where he rolled to his left. Impressive leaping grab by the defender
-Javonte Williams had a nice run behind Tyler Guyton and Tyler Smith
-Dak found George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb on deep balls but looked like Dak might have been sacked on both plays
-Dak also hit Pickens on a slant and a back shoulder
-CeeDee had a couple catches and drew a holding flag on another target-Cobie Durant PBU
-Justin Barron 2 interceptions

Some things you just cant fix.

Blue may be headed to the practice squad.

Wouldnt suprise me to see us try and deal away someone for a RB. Davis is solid, but not a big play guy. He does play st, so thats a huge plus for him.

Izzy is still the dark horse. One of the players I'll be intently watching in the ps games.

I was kind of hoping this player would step up and seize the fifth or sixth ILB spot. He has good size for the position compared to some of our guys.

Meanwhile, the Rams are probably playing as vanilla as possible because they don't have any reason to test out what they are doing. Same thing for our offense.

I dont see them going that deep at ILB. 5 at the very most. 70% of the game is passing situations. I see Barron battling James for the 4th spot.
