105.3 Is it time to cut Blue?

Tiki Barber averaged 9 fumbles (35 total) per season his first 4 seasons.
Did the Giants cut him?
Nope!
They corrected the issue with coaching!
Frankly, I'd rather it happen now, so they can look at it on film and make any corrections that may be necessary. It may have just been a good play by a defender. Those things happen.

 .......how he goes from a legit backup to Williams to not making the team after only a few practices
What the hell?? They were talking about him splitting time with Javonte like a week ago
Literally they said “he’s had a great camp” and “he had a fumble” and “I’d cut him” and “it’s never gonna get better”, all in twenty seconds.

Both of them in on the act.

Blue may not ever be reliable enough to make it the league, but these two guys aren’t reliable enough to make it through a single sentence without contradicting themselves.

The cutdown date is August 29, 2026. That is 18 days to see if he keeps fumbling or not. No reason to cut him now unless you have a replacement in mind or you are good with Davis, Abanikanda, Corbin and Mafha.

It seems self-explanatory to me, ruffian.

Thing is, he does well, but does the fumbling continue!!??? Hard to trust someone who you know eventually will put the ball on the ground

Didn’t watch it and seldom find their comments or predictions very accurate, but he isn’t getting cut. Worst case scenario is PS (yes that’s technically a cut and resign but I don’t consider it a “cut”). IMO he needs to show more than his raw talent to win the backup job and if he isn’t #2 on the depth chart he isn’t active on game day because he isn’t running down on kickoff and punt coverage.

Regardless, much too much being made of this. He was a mid round pick who was way overestimated by many in the first place. So far his career has gone exactly as expected if you were objective about it from the beginning IMO. There was never much of a guarantee of him being anything and the potential to get quality snaps is still as much an unknown as it was the day he is drafted. It’s up to him to win the job. IMO it’s still Davis that is #2 and it isn’t close. Hopefully one of the kids shows enough to take the job from him or we sign someone who can, but as we sit here today I see Davis way ahead of the others

Good points you've made, just needs to focus extremely harder maybe call up a Tiki barber and get with him

Tony Dorsett and Franco Harris each had 90 career fumbles and Walter Payton had 86. Maybe we should give Blue a little more time to work on the fumble problem. Blue doesn't have their pedigree, but he might be a keeper.

stupid.
and they know its stupid.
so they play pretend.
Yeah, I'm thinking they're just trolling

Granted I'm fairly new to listening to The Fan on any kind of a regular basis and although I'd already decided Gavin is a tool, I had some respect for Zack up until I heard this.

If he's constantly fumbling in practice and the pre-season, he isn't going to get a chance to "work on it" in real games. Hopefully just click-bait talk.

Sometimes you may want to fix the issue early so it doesn't continue to happen, humble him, get him help etc

Is he constantly fumbling? This is the first one I've heard of for this camp.

Why would they talk about it or bring it up at all over one fumble in the scrimmage? If they did they are failing as a show and are just looking for clicks. LOL
