Dak has a chance to break into the Top 4

Those QBs played calm and cool...and didn't make big mistakes. "Driving the bus" doesn't just mean don't crash. It means not even a parking ticket.

Kinda like Coop did here. Nothign fancy...just won games.

(And no...I never said he was better than Dak....kay?)

Correct that’s why you have to take everything into account. Which is why winning a Super Bowl alone isn’t enough.

Correct. Nobody is arguing otherwise. Not sure what’s so hard to comprehend here. It’s the same reason why Eli Manning isn’t all that special.

I definitely respect your opinion. With that said, provide us with the list of the other 15 to 20 quarterbacks that you or the other "anybody's" believe are better than Dak.

While you think about that, please explain how a quarterback who you believe who isn't in the top 15, can possibly put up top 10 production every year he has finished the season healthy.....

Please also explain how a quarterback who you believe isn't in the top 15, could possibly put up top 3 production in his position just last season.

I don't want to assume you're just another brainless troll, or that you know absolutely nothing about how football is played..... I just want to afford you the opportunity to explain your logic vs real life facts and make what you've said make sense to all the intelligent people here.
 
Holy cow, page 2 of this thread is like a full blown novel by blueblood!

I'll just say his Dak can lead the team to the Super Bowl, win, lose, or draw, you can put him wherever group ratings you want. If he can't? Then Jerry has overpaid for him.

It's that simple.

And just to keep it real, the Dak I know.. well it would be shocking to see him do that. Fingers crossed!

In this forum there is no middle ground. Dak is either the best or the worst.

If fans would just accept the fact he is what he is- a top seven to 12 QB that can win a lot of games if the team around him is playing well- then a lot of these arguments could be avoided.

Dak needs to be better in the postseason. But so does the rest of the team. At this point fans either want to lay all the blame at his feet or call him the best QB that ever played for this team. Neither is true. But there is no happy medium here.

Right now Dak is in Tier 2...... #5-8 with Lamar, Goff, and Herbert. Guys who are very good at what they do but not consistently so. And they go on and off with making the playoffs. Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. Only 10 playoff wins combined among the 4 for an average of 2.5 playoff wins per each of those QBs.

If Dak gets to tier 1, what does he get for that? A cookie? Popcycle? Honey poured on him? What? Such a meaningless post. But, I do have to admit, it was a tier 1 post in your eyes. Good job!
 
There is one thing I would like to read after Dak Prescott breaks into the supposed top four. That would be an ESPN article filled with named quotes agreeing with the event. What I would not prefer reading is the same old, same old like:

"Dak is right there with Mahomes, Stafford, and Allen," said one NFC offensive coordinator. Or​
"Dak kicked Burrow out of the top four," said one AFC team owner. Or​
"Dak is the next best quarterback behind Mahomes," said one ex-head coach. Or​
"Dak just played a season better than Mahomes, Stafford, Allen, and Burrow ever played in their entire careers," said one stadium custodian.​

Putting faces behind the names adds more creditability to the assessments in my opinion.
