I'll answer that. I had no problem with Owens being on the team because he made the team better. Fans want to label players as bad teammates because they don't like them, but I don't think the players feel the same way. Most players just want to win.

Do you think the vast majority of our players cared for Charles Haley? His locker room behavior has been well recorded, but he made the team better as a player, so they lived with the bad for the good. When the bad outweighs the good, then you move on.

There are probably plenty of personality clashes in a locker room, just like there are in many workplaces, but that doesn't mean you can't still work together to get the job done.

You didn't answer the question. You reframed it to your liking. Slimy tactic. I'll translate what you didn't say. You had an issue with TO being a cowboy even though he was an all pro but you had no issue with micah. Got it.

thank you for answering straightforward. I could go more into the bad teammates not being conducive to winning but thats more for the hypocrites who had an issue with TO and not micah. If you didn't have an issue with either that's fine.
 
post trade results didnt matter to me. I was jsut happy to move on. I didn't believe this team could become a playoff caliber defense that could help carry us through the postseason if it was led by Parsons because he was flawed star in the sense he wasn’t a complete player. He might’ve been a better pash rusher at his peak but I’d take the best version of DLaw over Parosn because he could do it all in the trenches. Just not by himself and we did a bad job of build around DLaw when he was at his best. DLaw was like the DE version of La‘ROI Glover. I knew he would be successful in Seattle because he’s a very fundamentally sound football in faucets of the trenches.

That’s how I answer questions much like a public figure , elected official or our owner would. I will not let you control the narrative.

I have had many personal issues with personalities on the Cowboys but their talent and contribution to the success on the field outweighs .

And I’ve stated Parsons conduct was a distraction and probably turned some fans off but it’s like he had criminal activity, arrest, etc off the field which I have been more outspoken on over the years.

We must set aside our personal emotions . Not all fans have that ability .

I find it hilarious that a certain portion of this fanbase freaks out over player, coach, and GM/owner comments...as if the Cowboys are the only team that does it and rhe 31 other teams are completely heads down and no comments every question.

We should be happy we dont have people on the team commenting/getting attention on non-sports issues like Aaron Rodgers and Jason Dart just to name a few. Interacting with the media is required (and in JJs case get greater exposure for the Cowboys that helps him maintain the highest value franchise moniker).

When you can get the "highest paid" title AND have your "money now," it's agent malpractice not to do it in the event your client has a career-ending injury. That's why they approached after Year 3 like any perennial All-Pro player would, just like Zeke did.

His success on the field was well documented . He is only 1 of 2 players in NFL history to record 12 sacks or more in his first 4 seasons and followed it with another 12+ sack season in Green Bay despite seasons ending injury .

He’s been a perennial All Pro on a HOF pace and how he garnered two 1st round picks in the 11th hour a week before season begun .

His talent and ability isn’t an issue. Well established . And that value provides the Cowboys an opportunity to overcome his loss.

That’s all opinion driven. I try to stick to the facts and set our emotion aside .

By NFL standards he’s been an All Pro considered one of the best at his position on a HOF pace.

The fact we received two first round picks for him also supports his value.

I’m not really sure what you’re basing these thoughts on? Sounds more like personal conjecture than actual NFL data.

The salary issues are always over blown much like Daks contract was . Market Price for the leagues top athletes in key positions is usually only a temporary status based more on timing than actual pecking order. His salary has already been surpassed by Garrett this year.

I’ll rely on actual NFL data and the accolades they provide on his status which are much more reliable than some anonymous fan on a forum:)
