Jerry Jones: Very happy with Cowboys post-Micah Parsons trade

In case you missed it the first time:

does anyone think that the Packers would make this same deal again?
You missed part of it including his injury. But I answered again above to original question. I hope you like it better.

Jerry and Stephen are always happy, we lose in the playoffs and they're HAPPY about the way we played, we commit 100+ yards in penalties, Jerry and Stephen find value in the way we've progressed going forward lol
IT is the "Billionaire Syndrome !!" LOL
billions of dollaroo's tend to make people smile all the time or be happy with things.

As someone who has scoffed at a lot of the silly criticisms of Parsons made on this board (such as the podcast stuff), I agree with this. Maybe Micah could have fixed the relationship, but that move broke it.
Archer said the other day that MIcah was never signing here, no matter what might have been said publicly.

I don't know when Micah would have made that decision, but Archer was pretty firm on his statement.

Dak openly advocating for Pickens to get paid when he stayed silent on micah doesn't ring a bell in shills heads as to what a loser teammate micah was and how he wasn't respected. Looks like Jerry isn't the only one happy.
Different media people have said that Jerry was actually the last one who had to be convinced to trade him. Others in the organization wanted him gone before Jerry did.

Jerry is still thinking about that trade, means in his mind ,he wasnt satisfied, so he is afraid others arent,so he is trying to justify what he did.
I think it was just luck and shotty leading the draft and FA ,and getting the news DC that has made the team better now.
Micah turned into a diva, and a distraction who didnt earn his rookie $ on the field half the time, and then is out of shape and a back problem, and a knee about to go out, and he wants 48 mil a year ! Getting rid of him and not commiting to 48 mil a year was a win in itself.

Because he initially had no intention of trading him. Jethro tried to play the sympathy card publicly hoping it would impact negotiations but all it did was turn fans against Parsons and ultimately pissed off Parsons feeling he was disrespected .

I don’t agree with his behavior after the fact but I’d imagine he was struggling with how a fanbase and organization turned on him since becoming arguably the most popular player on the team as we saw more #11 jerseys than any other .

IMO what Jethro begun as a negotiation tactic turned into a dead end where Micah eventually didn’t want to remain here.

I haven’t seen any of these stats and data yet you claim to have . Are they official
NFL stats with a link provided or just the stillthegurus :)
Official. Just for you. I'll post it when the time comes don't worry. I know micah shills won't let go and he'll be talked about all throughout the year.

I’ll add this. While it’s obvious no one would make the trade given an ACL injury , I’d argue leading up to injury the way the Packers and Parsons were playing they’d do it all over again.

And knew going in what they were going to have to pay him. And didn’t flinch.
That’s where the “given everything that’s happened” preface comes in.

The injury is obviously part of everything that’s happened.

One of the most amazing parts is this.

When the Cowboys were discussing a Parsons trade with other teams, they insisted on getting a top defensive tackle in the deal.

When they had talked with the Jets, they wanted Quinnen Williams. The Jets said “No”.

So, they made the deal with the Packers, a deal that included Kenny Clark.

Dallas was then able to revisit a trade for Williams and actually found a way to acquire both!

So, while they were initially looking for one quality defensive tackle, in the end they were able to get two.

I’m not sure I’d place Clark in same category as Q or Micah?

That’s what I thought .More hot air.

At what point did you go south on Parsons . Before contract negations or well before ? Or were you never in support or a fan?

I wouldn’t either, not alone. But add him to the two 1st round picks they also received, and now next to Quinnen Williams and things look much better for the Cowboys.
And that doesn’t count the additional 1st rounder . It all punctuates the value Parsons had which provides Cowboys an excellent opportunity to overcome loss of Parsons .

What do you mean that's what I thought? I unlike you answered your question without a deceptive response. I said I official stats.

I went south on that bum after the green bay game. After he ran his mouth about how he was going to play great and instead he did his normal......nothing. if you are trying to imply that I hate when players get paid show me where I turned on ceedee when he wanted his money.
