When Dallas drafted Schoonamker, Dalton Schultz left in free agency and Jake Ferguson was coming off a 19 catch rookie season.

The Cowboys had no idea Ferg would emerge so they drafted Schoon out of need.

I wouldn't. I don't have any actual hate for Schoon. It's not his fault he was over-drafted. I'd be just as disappointed in him if he was a 4th-round pick.

Not even close. Trigg had a few ok catches. Also had a few screw ups.
He looked much slower than Schoonmaker.
