Miller had 15 QB hits (1 in every 28 snaps) and 9 sacks (1/47) on 420 snaps last year.

For comparative purposes, Micah Parsons had 27 QB hits (1/26) and 12.5 sacks (1/57) on 707 and Rashan Gary 20 (1/33) and 7.5 (1/87) on 653.

Our leader, Jadaveon Clowney, had 10 QB hits (1/37) and 8.5 sacks (1/43) in 373.

Look this guy doesn't have a lot left but he has something left to add to a rotation and probably be in on obvious pass rush times of the game where he can affect the game the most not wear him out on rundowns and all that kind of stuff if you strategically use this guy he still got something..

Anybody who mocks this but yet Seattle won a Super Bowl last year with the whole defense by committee the no single point of failure they got guys who we thought were pretty washed up in Tank Lawrence guys like him who did they get this year i'm pretty sure they got two ex Cowboy defenders on their team right now maybe 3 isn't Fowler over there right now I mean can we get serious I know a lot of people in here think Jerry just picks up washed up trash but Clowney did a good job last year he didn't really fit this defense as well So that answers some guys question up there let the defensive coaches pick their players not the ones leftover from last year and that's exactly what's going on this year..

Look I realize that adoree Jackson is not a big name and people are going to mock it it's not Eli Apple this is a guy who's familiar with Christian Parker drum roll please let the new defensive coaches pick their own guys whether they fail or not at least its Who they want who they believe can do something and even if it's just a situation like when the Cowboys picked up Gilmore and Brandon Cooks for 5th round trades those guys contributed that's what we need we're looking for depth to help the young players have a little bridge to learn from and maybe get better from sooner than later.

Just a friendly reminder that all teams do it not just Jerry you're just adding and churning the roster whether it's at the bottom or finding some veterans to mix in with your young group...

Regardless of what is left in his tank, his knowledge of pass rushing will be more valuable to the DLine in the long run. Hopefully, his presence alone will make those around him better.

Definitely, and he knows Parker from their time in Denver, so he can help with the culture that Parker is trying to install.

Von is a master of strip sacks. He had TWO in Superbowl 50 and was named Superbowl MVP. I really hope he has 2-3 years of magic left....and we win...
