To true fellow Cowboy fans. it's OK to be excited

Yep...you can tell Tom was a huge influence for me too. Discipline, excellence, and class.

Opposite of what we have now. And no...I ai't going anywhere! Gonna see it through....even when Steph takes over. :)
Cowboys born
Cowboys bred
When I die
I'll be Cowboys dead.

The defensive turnaround is intriguing but until proven otherwise, they’re still the same old Cowboys. To insist on blindly hyping them up at this point in time is to be a sucker for heartbreak and disappointment. Also, Dak isn’t "outstanding" by any stretch of the imagination. We all know he can get the job done during the regular season but he’s also a career playoff dud who crumbles under pressure. Again, he’s still the same player until proven otherwise.

My interest and excitement level is higher than last year for sure but my expectations are still nonexistent. Talk is cheap, let’s see if the changes lead to actual results on the field.

All yawns are not equal though. The real question is whether it was a Bugs Bunny approved yawn?

Inquiring minds want to know. :)
Naw I went with the Garfield version.

Time Warner was playing hardball with the Looney Tunes rights so I had to reach out to Garfield and his peps.

I found out that being paid in Lasagna is far cheaper than being paid in organic carrots.

The excitement level is way higher than last year.

I mean look at the defense. It's easier to get hyped over Caleb Downs, Von Miller, Rashan Gary, Cobie Durant, Jalen Thompson, Malachi Lawrence, Jaishawn Barham, PJ Locke, and others than trying to talk ourselves into Kaiir Elam, Kenneth Murray, Jack Sanborn, and Solomon Thomas being difference makers.

Another one from the dark side.

And with the new DC and HIS coaches this defense will be nothing like last year and is going to make a big jump this year.

Reality is just a term the haters use to try and justify their constant negativity and convince themselves that being negative all the time is better than being positive all the time.
OK, now this is just funny. Haters is the term you use so you can be rude and nasty to people. Same thing. And you are the most negative person on this site. #1 Negative fan.

Pollyanna = a person who is overly or blindly optimistic, cheerful, and expects a good outcome in every situation, often ignoring REAL problems. We should just call you Rockyanna. LOL!

And the hate gets to the point they don't even let themselves enjoy the wins.

I get that we are all sick and tired of the 30 year title drought, but if we cannot allow ourselves to be happy at any kind of win outside of a Super Bowl, that's terrible.

All that does is make being a fan of the team a miserable experience devoid of any type of joy whatsoever until a Super Bowl is won. And even if we ever see that, they will drift back into depression until it happens again.

I mean if you have standards you should be kind of miserable. I still personally enjoy football season but in the first 30 years of the Super Bowl era, the Cowboys played in the game to go to the Super Bowl 16 times. The last 30 years, not even One(1) championship game. Yeah, pretty miserable..

"Dark side" = Reality, I prefer that to Pollyanna-ism.
When fans say reality or just being real. They ALWAYS follow it up with a negative comment,
such as just keeping it real, we suck, and will miss they playoffs.

I never see a fan say just keeping it real, we will make the playoffs.
They simply say we will make the playoffs.
