I don't know that that's the entire truth. I think there were other factors that pushed the issue, like his podcast and the way he disappeared every year as the playoffs approached. Micah is certainly a rare and fantastic football talent, but he's small for his position and not durable. I'll go out on a limb and say 1) Parsons will never play a full 17-game season, and 2) Green Bay will not sniff the SB while Parsons is there. They paid him $50m per to put them over the edge and it didn't happen, and they are not the same team now that they were before they acquired Parsons. And they don't have him either.. I think it pissed Jerry off the way Micah blew off their handshake and sided with his agent, but I think all the other stuff made letting him go a lot easier. Dallas never won anything with Micah in town, and I'm glad Jerry didn't pay him $50m to stay. Micah got his bag and the debacle led to last year's historic defensive fiasco, which has caused Jerry to step back a little and do things a little differently. We haven't played a down yet and I don't know how the cheese heads are feeling, but Parsons got his money and a team he says he loves, and the Cowboys seem pretty pleased how things turned out. I guess we'll see.

Too bad if that’s true. I was glad he was traded but don’t wish ill will on him. He’s been playing football his whole life to make it to the NFL so it’s always sad to see a players career cut short by injury.

Micah also got a $202 million contract offer and turned it down, pouted, and took a nap on the trainers table in a preseason game while multiple teammates were fighting for a roster spot.

Jerry's ego was a big issue, but it takes two to tango. Micah acted like a spoiled, entitled brat through the whole contract ordeal. It revealed his true character.

Micah needs to grow up and actually work at his craft instead of talking about how great he is.

I'm sorry, but they guy is talented and lives off of that which is fine and good, but he seems far far away from having the right mentality... Speaking for me personally, his new prediction videos, specifically the nfc east, shows too much of his podcaster persona in which in my eyes was a big distraction..

I don't get the issue or drama being created over this? Some of you just hate Micah for whatever reason. We get it. Better to do podcasts than being out there getting drunk and creating problems. I remember when Romo wasn't dedicated because he was playing golf or basketball instead of sleeping late and playing video games. My favorite is when people pretend Micah isn't great. Why are so many still obsessed with him? He is on another team but we still constantly get all of their Micah updates. Meh. What are you gonna do
