What would we have to add in to swap Bland for Porter? Is it feasible with Bland's deal?

I'd probably do Bland + 2nd for Porter..thoughts?

I did want to tell her yet. That Dallas may trade for him.
As she will fear I am right. As I predicted Dallas would trade for Pickens halfway through his last year in Pitt.

Bland has little to no value. If we traded for Porter, Bland won't be involved. If we made a deal for Porter, Bland gets cut after the season. He probably does anyways

Bland’s contract would be cheaper to them than what Porter wants.
Steelers already have the h most expensive defense in over $200 million.

Sounds like they do not want to pay another huge contract at this point. Last I heard.

Porter is also significantly better than Bland. I dont think they will have a problem paying a CB as long as that CB plays at a high level. Bland hasnt since he got exposed by Metcalf in 2023

I don't want to trade for a player that embellishes or fakes an injury for any dang reason. Let him rot in Pittsburgh. It speaks to his character. Haven't we learned anything?

How can anyone be surprised or upset about players, especially great players, wanting to get paid a large salary. The owners are amassing huge revenues and the value of their teams go up each year. They are sitting on billions of dollars and the players want some of that since they put their bodies, and minds at high risk, while the owners sip champagne in their boxes (in the case of Jethro Jones, Johnnie Walker black. Sports has turned into one thing and one thing only, MONEY. Everything else is part of the theatre of sports.

Players signed a CBA. When it is up in 2030. They will need to renegotiate it.
